can't wait for this one to come out already! Confessions of a Shopaholic. predicted to be even more fashion-heavy than Sex and the City: the Movie. and Isla Fischer is so freaking adorable!

the secret life of bees

one of the few movies that lives up to its good book (remember my blog about how most books are so much better than their movie counterparts?). this one definitely made me cry, as did the book. and i loved every single character - the casting was exceptional. you might want to watch it...scratch that, i highly recommend that you do!


my favorite part, brought me back to the old days. lol. "baby, i need your loving, got to have all your loving, baby i need your loving, got to have all your loving." he was such a cutie!

the book is a worthy read, which explains its status as a New York Times Bestseller. and with such an amazing cast (Dakota Fanning, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, and Queen Latifa), i'm anticipating the movie to be just as meritorious.

p.s. ever notice how New York Times Bestsellers, or books in general, have been translated into movies lately? i.e. Nights in Rodanthe, The Kite Runner, No Country for Old Men, I Am Legend, The Notebook, The Devil Wears Prada, In Her Shoes, Love in the Time of Cholera, Fight Club, etc.

being in the top 3 of my favorite books, i'd love to see The Alchemist made into a movie. and they already made the movie for Tuesdays with Morrie, but it'd be interesting to see if they could update it (with Al Pacino as Morrie lol).
