this is family business

he's the cousin i (actually, all of us) look up to the most.

"The hardest part of every journey is always the first step. Now that that's over... don't be afraid to finish the job. Your purpose in life was to do what others could never do. We are cut from the same cloth where we are willing to put it all on the line in order to achieve what most people would call an impossible goal. Funny how life just passed us by and the age of innocence is long gone. I've quickly learned how cold, harsh, and sometimes unforgiving life can be. While we strive for independence and control of our lives, how scary it becomes when we finally achieve it and the training wheels are gone and we are forced to rely on nothing but ourselves for survival. Scary to know that there is no longer a safety net and how every step you take could make or break you.

However, the sweetest thing you can ever do is to conquer all obstacles and look back at the journey traveled. Learning to answer to no one but yourself and knowing what you want and how you want to get it is something that few people ever get to experience. The people who are lazy and play it safe are always the ones that fall short in the end. Feel good knowing that you are a part of the 1 percentile of people I know that have the guts to go balls to the wall to follow your dreams. While the road may appear long and never ending, but just have one foot follow the other, and eventually, you will find your way home to a new person.

Never forget how many people you have in your corner. Know that we all believe in you. Whenever you feel lonely or depressed, just close or eyes and remember all of the good times, from the mad gab games, to all the family parties, to the holidays, to days where we just sat there and did nothing. It helps me sometimes. Know that all the pain that you might be feeling right now is weakness leaving your body and empowering you. Even though growing up extremely sucks, it is something we all have to do.. it's scary at first... but when we learn how to deal we wonder what the f*ck the whole fuss was about in the first place.

You are always in my thoughts and my prayers and I know you will be ok. Remember to always look to GOD for guidance, He is always there even when you feel like everyone else isn't.

Sorry I couldn't write more, but people like you and me walk the walk instead of wasting time talking the talk. You know what I mean.
