how the grinch stole christmas

the glitz and glamour of christmas (esp to a spoiled brat like me) was gone missing this year. perhaps it was the continued recession? perhaps i was too engrossed with school up until two days before the big night? perhaps i really do see where the Grinch was coming from?

either way, i do know i got to spend it with a handful of people i love, i did get a few sentimental and practical gifts (like a snuggie, slipper-socks, a booklight, and gift cards for a movie and dinner night!), and of course there was homemade food, like real homemade food!

so this christmas...

"'it came without ribbons! it came without tags! 

it came without packages, boxes or bags!'

and he puzzled three hours, 'til his puzzler was sore.

then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before!

'maybe christmas,' he thought, 'doesn't come from a store.

'maybe christmas...perhaps...means a little bit more!"
