trying to get back to my philanthropic tendencies from my high school/undergrad years. so here's two things. firstly, DIVIDED for H&M is launching their second "Fashion Against AIDS" collection before the end of the month (May 28). t-shirts are all-organic cotton with designs by Pharrell/N.E.R.D., Katy Perry, Dita Von Teese, Cyndi Lauper, and more. 25% of sales will benefit HIV/AIDS prevention projects run by Designers Against AIDS, UNFPA, MTV's Staying Alive Foundation, and YouthAIDS.
secondly, i'm trying to work with organizing an AIDS event with UMDNJ-School of Nursing (and hoping to collaborate with the other programs at UMDNJ) at June 27, dedicated to National HIV Testing Day. more details to come, for those of you in the area.
